How to Prepare Your Design for a Perfect Custom Deskmat

In this day and age, you don’t need to be a graphic designer or super tech-savvy to get your dream mousepad or deskmat printed. Just follow a few simple steps — and our professional graphics team will take care of the rest

Requirements:

  • Minimum image resolution: 1920x1080px (Don’t worry — we’ll enhance it using pro tools!)
  • Supported formats: JPG and PNG

  • Max file size: 100MB(If your file is larger or in another format, use a placeholder image at checkout and email us the original at)

What to Do:

  • Measure your desk to select the correct pad size.
  • Use our cropping tool to fit your image. If you don’t like how it crops, send us your image and preferred size we’ll suggest solutions.

  • Leave a bleed area of 2/5” (10 mm) on each side avoid placing important details too close to the edges.

  • Add any special instructions during checkout. We’ll tweak your design to your liking.

What NOT to Do:

  • Don’t use your own upscaling software our professional tools achieve far better results.

  • Don’t manually resize a low-res image to a higher resolution this can reduce print quality.

Bleed & Safe Zones
In all our PSD template files, you’ll find teal-colored guide lines near each edge these mark the bleed area required for production.
Important: Keep all critical design elements (logos, text, borders) at least 10mm inside the edge to avoid being trimmed or stitched over.

Shrinkage Disclaimer
Mousepads and deskmats are printed on soft substrates, which may shrink by 1–1.5 cm during heat and pressure production. We recommend accounting for this during design to avoid edge loss.

File Format & Upload Instructions
We accept all file formats, both raster and vector. For best results:
Upload a high-quality JPG or PNG when placing your order.
Email us the original design file with layers unmerged (e.g., PSD, AI, EPS, PDF, SVG) to: Support@takehadiah.shop
You can also share a Google Drive, Dropbox, or any cloud storage link if your file exceeds 100MB or isn’t supported on-site.

Color Management & Accuracy
Every screen is different — and digital colors (RGB) don’t always match printed ones (CMYK). Here’s how to reduce surprises:
Extremely saturated / neon / fluorescent colors may appear slightly muted in print.
We recommend setting your file’s ICC profile to Adobe RGB (1998) for better CMYK matching.
We use color-calibrated designer monitors and a controlled workflow to ensure the closest possible print-to-screen accuracy.
